Court was continued to Monday... I think the postponed so the regular judge could decide.
We aren't going. We've made it clear. Return home or find another family to torment with no plan and no regard for their emotions or schedule.
Home is where your story begins. Welcome to my home. This blog is about a family formed through foster care adoption as we navigate parenting children with early childhood trauma, open adoption, and the child welfare system.

Another delay! This is really painful. I remember when I first started foster care, I was at a doctor's appointment for Primo (his first one), when the the social worker there found out how far I'd traveled for this appointment she rolled her eyes and declared "you foster parents need a Union!" I remember smiling, unconvinced. But now I know exactly what she meant. As foster parents we are at the bottom of everything and our feelings, schedules, stress and whole lives are way undervalued!
