I totally ...Long time reader, first time commenter. I totally agree with you-people need to stop being jerk faces. Our family doesn't all look alike, but people just HAVE to tell us what they think about it (usually in front of the kids, who are not deaf). Our oldest is 10.5 and has been with us for ten years. You think we'd be used to it by now.
I'm so sorry that you're stuck in eternal foster care limbo-land and they won't let you just get on with your lives and raise your kids!!! I've been there, and it's no fun. But there is life on the other side (post-adoption), and although it isn't without bumps along the way, it's TOTALLY worth it. We still come across info once in a while that rocks our world for a few days (new sibling, bio mom out of jail or back in town, etc.), but life returns to our normal before long.
Keep going, Mama. Someday (hopefully) all this crazy will be a distant memory, and you'll have a totally different crazy to deal with (teenagers with driver's licenses-gasp!) :0)Alicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05873051359828842607noreply@blogger.com
